Olympic Snowboarder Shaun White Signs Video Game Deal with Ubisoft

San Francisco - French video game publisher Ubisoft announced that it has signed an agreement with Shaun White, the 19-year-old U.S. snowboarding halfpipe gold medalist from the 2006 Winter Olympics. Under the deal, Ubisoft will create snowboarding games for current and next-generation consoles featuring White, the first of which is slated for release in 2007.

EA Signs With Neowiz to Create Korean "FIFA Online"

Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts announced on Wednesday that it has signed a multi-year co-development and publishing agreement with Korean game publisher Neowiz. Under the terms, the companies will collaborate on a Korean online game based on EA's "FIFA Soccer" title. The game is being developed at EA Canada for Neowiz, which claims 20 million subscribers and is the publisher of "Special Force," the most popular online game in Korea.
