Charter Teams With Sivoo to Add Intl. Movies, TV on Charter.net

St. Louis - Cable TV provider Charter Communications said on Tuesday that it has partnered with Sivoo, a firm that offers multicultural and non-English language programming for the Internet and IPTV, to add international movies and TV shows to its Charter.net Web portal. At launch, the service will feature on-demand programs in Chinese, Hindi and Spanish

SIVOO Holdings, Inc., an Internet TV network of multicultural on-demand entertainment programming, today announced the appointment of Christopher Myers to be its president and chief operating officer (COO), a newly created position. Myers joined SIVOO as COO in 2006. Myers will be responsible for the management and performance of all business units of company, handling financial activities, execution of the business model, product development and delivery, marketing, advertising sales and programming.

Sony Corporation of America, a joint venture between Sony and trusts formed by Michael Jackson, announced today that Martin Bandier has been named Chairman and CEO, Sony/ATV Music Publishing LLC. Mr. Bandier will also make an investment in Sony/ATV.

Soapbox Mobile, the full-service mobile marketing agency, announced the addition of two key new members to its executive management team. Kristen Fox, Vice President of Professional Services leads the mobile marketing strategies and campaign creative on behalf of Soapbox Mobile clients. Prior to joining Soapbox, Fox was Associate Director, Product, for Mobile ESPN Publishing. Soapbox also announced the addition of Kevin Granath, the new Vice President of Sales & Business Development.
