Canesta Raises $16 Million for 3D Image Sensors

Sunnyvale, Calif. - Canesta, a developer of 3D image sensors, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $16 million in new financing, from returning backers Carlyle Growth Partners, Hotung Venture Group and Venrock, and new investors Quanta Computer and SMSC.
