Sony Debuts $250 PSP Go, Plans Motion-Sensing Controller

Los Angeles - Sony (NYSE: SNE) Computer Entertainment America plans to join rivals Nintendo and Microsoft in introducing its own motion-sensing controller for the PlayStation 3 in 2010, the company announced at the E3 video game conference in Los Angeles on Tuesday. Sony also confirmed speculation about the release of a new, 50% smaller version of its PSP handheld, the PSP Go, which will go on sale for $250 in North America and Europe on Oct. 1.

Sony to Produce Movie Based on "Shadow of the Colossus" Game

Los Angeles - Sony (NYSE: SNE) Pictures is working on a big-screen adaptation of sister company Sony Computer Entertainment's "Shadow of the Colossus" game franchise, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film is being produced by Kevin Misher, with Justin Marks ("20,000 Leagues Under the Sea") attached to write the script.
