Brazilian Broadcasters Launch HD Radio Alliance

Columbia, Md. - iBiquity Digital, the developer of HD Radio technology that lets radio stations transmit a digital signal alongside their traditional analog signals, announced on Wednesday that Brazilian broadcasters have formed an alliance to promote the adoption of HD Radio.

iBiquity Licenses South American Manufacturer for HD Radios

Columbia, Md. - iBiquity Digital, the developer and licensor of digital HD radio broadcasting technology, said that it has licensed South America's Continental Lensa to manufacture and market its equipment. Continental Lensa, which is based in Chile with an additional facility in Brazil, becomes the first licensed HD Radio broadcast equipment manufacturer outside of North America.
