Sirius Now Available on Squeezebox Network Music Players

New York - Sirius Satellite Radio (NASD: SIRI) said on Tuesday it has signed a deal with Logitech, to make over 80 Sirius channels available for streaming on the company's Squeezebox line of network music players. The offering includes music channels plus programs featuring Howard Stern, Martha Stewart and NFL Radio.

Logitech Announces MP3Tunes Support for Squeezebox Device

Fremont, Calif. - Logitech, a maker of PC peripherals and distributor of the Squeezebox, a standalone device that plays music streamed from the Internet, on Wednesday announced a partnership with MP3Tunes, provider of an online locker storage service for digital music. Under the deal, Squeezebox owners will be able to stream their own music collections to the device, after first uploading the music to an MP3Tunes Music Locker, which costs $39.95 per year for unlimited storage.

Fremont, Calif. - Computer peripherals manufacturer Logitech announced on Thursday that it has acquired Slim Devices, a maker of Internet radios and home networking technology, for $20 million in cash.

New York - Slim Devices, the maker of a line of wireless streaming audio players, said on Thursday it has partnered with home networking developer Ruckus Wireless to jointly market their products. A $359 bundle, that includes a Squeezebox Internet radio from Slim Devices and Ruckus Wireless' MediaFlex multimedia Wi-Fi router, offers consumers stutter-free Internet music playback throughout the home over a standard Wi-Fi connection.

Mountain View, Calif. - Slim Devices, makers of the Squeezebox standalone Internet music player, announced on Thursday that it partnered with RealNetworks to allow subscribers to access 2 million tracks from the company's Rhapsody music service on the Squeezebox.

Slim Devices Adds Pandora Service to Squeezebox Web Radio Player

Mountain View, Calif. - Slim Devices, a maker of networked entertainment devices, said on Thursday that it will integrate customized radio stations from Pandora Radio on its Squeezebox Internet music player. Oakland, Calif.-based Pandora's technology creates a custom radio stream based on songs with musical similarities to a listener's favorite songs. The $249 Squeezebox is a standalone Internet radio that can connect wirelessly to a home network; the Pandora service is an extra $36 per year.
