MP3tunes Adds Support for Logitech Squeezebox Boom

San Diego - MP3tunes, an online music storage locker and streaming service, announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Logitech to make songs stored in a user's MP3tunes locker available via the new Squeezebox Boom networked boombox music player. The $299 Squeezebox Boom lets users stream their home PC music collections, as well as Web radio stations, over a WiFi network to the portable stereo.

Fremont, Calif. - Logitech (NASD: LOGI) on Thursday unveiled a new Squeezebox networked digital music player, the $299 Squeezebox Boom, which allows users to access their digital music collections from any room in the house via the plug-in boombox. In addition to personal music collections, the device enables access to Web radio stations and subscription services including Rhapsody, Last.fm, Slacker, Pandora and Sirius.
