Orlando, Fla. - Photography giants Fuji, Konica Minolta and Eastman Kodak announced on Wednesday a new technology standard designed to ensure that digital photos and video can be shared across a broad range of consumer products. The "Everplay" standard addresses differences between methods used to organize and preserve digital images developed separately over the years. The three companies said they will adopt the Everplay standard in their own products, and have begun a free license program to encourage all consumer digital imaging companies to adopt the standard.
