Nasdaq, StockTwits Debut Real-Time Quotes on Twitter

New York - Twitter users can now see real-time Nasdaq stock quotes on companies they follow, via an integration of Nasdaq Late Sale data by StockTwits.com. The Nasdaq's @datajunkies Twitter account lets users send messages featuring a company's ticker symbol along with the dollar sign symbol, and receive up-to-the-minute quotes in return.

New York - StockTwits, a service that aggregates conversations about stock trading taking place on the Twitter microblogging service, has raised $800,000 in new funding from True Ventures, All Things D reports.

New York - StockTwits, the operator of a website that organizes stock- and finance-related Twitter conversations, has raised $800,000 in its first round of venture capital, led by IA Capital Partners, Silicon Alley Insider reported.
