IMAX 3D Version of "Superman Returns" Breaks Box Office Record

New York - The IMAX Corporation and Warner Bros. Pictures announced on Thursday that "Superman Returns: An IMAX 3D Experience" -- the first live-action feature to include scenes in the new IMAX 3D format -- broke the IMAX box office opening week record, taking in $6.83 million over the extended fourth of July weekend.

Burbank, Calif. - Warner Bros. Digital Distribution on Tuesday announced the launch of a mobile storefront for its upcoming "Superman Returns" movie, which debuts in theaters on Wednesday.

Electronic Arts to Develop Game for "Superman Returns" Movie

Redwood City, Calif. - Electronic Arts announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Comics to produce "Superman Returns" for Xbox 360 and current platforms, based on the upcoming Warner Bros. Pictures film slated for release on June 30, 2006. The title is currently being developed in Orlando, Fla. by EA Tiburon. Separately, EA said it has shipped its "Black & White 2" title for PC to retailers. The game is a sequel of the title from Peter Molyneaux's Lionhead Studios.
