Santa Monica, Calif. - Social networking site TagWorld on Friday launched TagWorld Widgets, which allow users to cut and paste "mini-applications" that can deliver games, media players, news and weather data on their TagWorld personal profile pages -- in addition to pages on MySpace, Friendster, Xanga and other sites.

TagWorld, Universal Music Group Partner to Let Users Add Music Videos

Santa Monica, Calif. - Social networking site TagWorld on Monday announced a partnership with Universal Music Group, that will let TagWorld members add music videos from Universal artists to their TagWorld sites. Santa Monica, Calif.-based TagWorld said that it has added over 1 million members since launching four months ago.

Santa Monica, Calif. - TagWorld, a recently-launched social networking site, said on Thursday that it has added the ability for its users to embed video into their profiles with one click. TagWorld Video will let members post action sports content from partner Studio411, in addition to video from services like YouTube and Revver.

TagWorld Launches Online Music Networking Service

Santa Monica, Calif. - TagWorld on Monday launched its online music service, which lets users create a list of tagged music-related websites, build customized playlists and upload music to their own personal websites. "One part iTunes and one part MySpace equals TagWorld Music," said TagWorld CEO Fred Krueger. Bands that have created sites for the service's launch include Death Cab for Cutie, The Shins and Alkaline Trio.
