Phillips Buys Remaining 76% of Teletrax

London, U. K. - Teletrax, a British TV and online video monitoring and analytics firm, is being completely acquired by Philips, which previously owned 24% of the company.

Agence France-Presse Taps Teletrax for Video Monitoring

Berlin - Agence France-Presse, the France-based newsgathering agency, said on Wednesday that it will use Medialink's Teletrax service to monitor broadcast usage of AFP video news content by its network and station clients. Teletrax maintains a network of detectors that monitors the television broadcasts of nearly 1,500 channels from more than 50 nations, including all 210 markets in the U.S.

MLB Signs With Teletrax; Details World Series of Fantasy Baseball

New York - Major League Baseball on Tuesday announced that it will test Medialink's Teletrax digital watermarking service to monitor usage of its postseason game video by broadcasters. In addition to tracking potential unauthorized uses, the service will be able to track the visibility of sponsors' logos during telecasts, and report back on impressions. Separately, MLB.com said on Tuesday that it will host the first-ever World Series of Fantasy Baseball, which will pit the season champions from MLB.com, CBSSports.com, ESPN.com and SportingNews.com in a postseason tournament.
