Tempe, Ariz. - Limelight Networks, a provider of content delivery network services that speed the delivery of digital media content across the Internet, announced on Tuesday that its global delivery capability now exceeds 1 Tbps (one terabit per second). "Hitting terabit per second content delivery network capacity is a strong validation of both our architecture and our success with innovative, high-growth media and entertainment customers, who increasingly are turning to online rich media as their most promising growth opportunity," said Limelight chairman and CEO Jeff Lunsford.
