Buzz Watch: vlogger Josh Wolf on the Colbert Report

The vlogger Josh Wolf's appearance on the Colbert Report Tuesday was so funny, I have to embed it. Thanks to NewTeeVee for bringing it to my attention. I especially like Colbert's attack on Wolf for calling himself a journalist: "But you're a blogger, not a member of the press." Colbert, like Borat, very successfully uses the appearance of ignorance as a great humorous tool to deliver a message, in this case how fast blogs using citizen journalism have taken off and developed into a powerful medium (in spite of what the Feds think).

Viacom Admits Error in YouTube Takedown; Groups Drop Lawsuit

San Francisco - A lawsuit filed against Viacom by the creators of a parody video removed from YouTube as a copyright violation has been dropped, after Viacom admitted that it erred in seeking to have the video taken down.
