Los Angeles - Veteran Hollywood trade publications Variety and The Hollywood
Reporter (THR) are planning to place most of their online content behind a
subscription "paywall," according to reports from Deadline.com and
PaidContent.

Los Angeles - The Hollywood Reporter has discontinued the print version of its Hollywood Reporter, ESQ. publication, which covers entertainment law, in favor of online-only distribution. In a note to staff published by LAObserved.com, the company cites "an effort to focus our resources on the areas of our business with the greatest potential for audience and revenue growth," adding that content from the publication will now be integrated into HollywoodReporter.com. |
