BusinessWeek announced today that Ellen Joan Pollock has been named Executive Editor of BusinessWeek magazine. In her new role, Ms. Pollock will be responsible for the editorial operations of BusinessWeek's global print edition. She succeeds John Byrne, who was named Executive Editor/Editor-in-Chief of BusinessWeek.com in June.

The Horror Channel to Distribute Original Series on NBBC

Guttenberg, N.J. - Broadband video site The Horror Channel announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with NBBC, NBC's new broadband unit, to provide the Horror Channel original series "Shadow Falls" on the free streaming service. The Horror Channel will share in ad revenue generated from its programming on the site. The deal will also provide content from NBC, its affiliates and other NBBC partners to HorrorChannel.com.
