Movielink to Offer Free Download of Glastonbury Festival Documentary

Los Angeles - Movielink, a studio-backed online movie and TV show download service, announced on Thursday that it has partnered with distributor THINKfilm to offer "Glastonbury," a documentary about the U.K. music festival, for free download on Movielink for a two-week period. The film was released this week on DVD for $24.98; starting June 25, the movie will be offered for free on Movielink for two weeks. Users will also be able to download individual artist performances for $1.99, or an entire collection of performances for a discounted price of $15. At the free offer's conclusion, "Glastonbury" will be offered on Movielink for $19.99.

ThinkFilm to Distribute WWII Doc Produced by AOL's Ted Leonsis

Dulles, Va. - AOL vice chairman Ted Leonsis announced on Friday that New York-based ThinkFilm will be distributing Nanking -- the WWII documentary the produced -- theatrically in North America. "They have a stellar track record in working on important and Academy Award nominated or winning documentaries," Leonsis wrote on his blog. "They are passionate about this project."
