He has worked on Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean, Microsoft's Halo, James Cameron's Avatar, Hasbro's Transformers, Mattel's Hot Wheels and Coca-Cola's Happiness Factory. "Transformers" Posts Biggest Opening in IMAX History

Los Angeles - The IMAX Corporation (NASD: IMAX) announced on Monday that Paramount's "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen" posted the biggest opening in IMAX history, with a single-day domestic gross of $3.9 million, and five-day gross of $14.4 million. The film was available from 169 IMAX screens in the U.S., making for a per screen average of over $85,000 during the five-day opening period. The company said the IMAX release contributed more than 7% of the film's $201 million total, on less than 2% of the screens showing the picture.

Teen Pleads Guilty to Videotaping 20 Seconds of "Transformers" Movie

Annandale, Va. - A teenager arrested last month for capturing 20 seconds of the film "Transformers" in a movie theater has pleaded guilty to violating a state law against camcording movies, according to reports.

Los Angeles - Five individuals were arrested over the weekend for attempting to bring camcorders or cell phone cameras into theaters to pirate the Dreamworks film "Transformers," according to a joint statement from the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA) and National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO).

Well, Transformers, an upcoming live-action feature film based on the popular TV series, it is gathering a lot of buzz online. It is currently number four on Yahoo Buzz list for movies and the movie is not set to premier until the July 4, 2007. 

Activision Gets Game Rights to Hasbro's "Transformers"

Pawtucket, R.I. - The Hasbro Properties Group, which licenses the toymaker's franchises for other uses, announced on Monday that it has granted video game publisher Activision the exclusive rights to develop console, handheld and PC games based on its "Transformers" brand. The first Activision title is slated for release alongside the theatrical premiere of the live action "Transformers" movie from DreamWorks/Paramount Pictures on July 4, 2007.

Buongiorno Vitaminic to Distribute Mobile "Transformers" Content

London - Buongiorno Vitaminic, an Italy-based distributor of mobile content, announced on Monday that it has licensed the rights from Hasbro Properties Group to distribute mobile content based on Hasbro's "Transformers." Under the deal, Buongiorno can distribute Transformers-related content in Europe, Africa and the Middle East.
