Showtime Taps Transpera for TV Show iPhone Application

Los Angeles - CBS-owned (NYSE: CBS) cable TV network Showtime will offer full seasons of all of its series via an iPhone application next month, although the series will only be available to voting members of the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, NewTeeVee reported. Transpera is powering the application, a more limited, publicly-available, ad-supported version of which is also due for release in a few weeks.

Santa Monica, Calif. - Transpera, a provider of mobile video advertising technology, announced that it has raised $8.25 million in its second round of financing, led by Flybridge Capital Partners.

Santa Monica, Calif. - Transpera, a developer of mobile video technology, announced on Tuesday that it has raised an undisclosed sum in its first round of venture capital financing, from First Round Capital, IDG Ventures and Intel Capital.
