Ustream Sued Over Unauthorized Boxing Match Video Feeds

Palo Alto, Calif. - Ustream, a provider of live video webcasting services, has been sued by a boxing promoter over unauthorized streams of a Roy Jones Jr. fight that were allegedly viewed by over 2,300 Ustream users, TechCrunch reported.

CBS News to Syndicate Live Video on Ustream

New York - CBS News (NYSE: CBS) has partnered with Internet video broadcasters Ustream to launch its own live video channel that will simulcast live CBS News broadcasts online.

Ustream Sees Record Live Video Traffic During Inauguration

Mountain View, Calif. - Ustream, the provider of an interactive video broadcasting platform, announced on Tuesday that it served some 3.8 million streams today, including a live feed of the inauguration that was viewable via the company's new iPhone application. The company said it counted 400,000 concurrent users watching inauguration events during the speech and swearing in, including "tens of thousands" on their iPhones.
