Viagogo Gets $15 Million for European Ticket Marketplace

London - Viagogo, the operator of an online secondary ticket exchange in Europe, announced that it has raised $15 million in its fourth round of funding, from investors including tennis stars Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf, and return backer Index Ventures.

London - Artist management firms representing more than 400 performing artists, including Radiohead, Arctic Monkeys and KT Tunstall, have joined together to try to secure artists a share of secondary online concert ticket sales. The Resale Rights Society (RRS) is targeting companies such as eBay, Viagogo and Seat Exchange, which generate an estimated more than $400 million annually in secondary ticket sales in the U.K.

London - Viagogo, a U.K.-based online ticket reseller, has raised $30 million in its third round of funding, from investors including Index Ventures, LVMH chairman Bernard Arault, German media mogul Herbert Kloiber, and international financier Jacob Rothschild.

Warner Music Taps Viagogo for Online Secondary Ticket Sales

London - Major record label Warner Music Group announced that it has signed a deal with online ticket reseller Viagogo, providing fans who purchase tickets resold through the service with free downloads, ringtones and videos, Reuters reported.
