Vibe Names Jermaine Hall New Editor-in-Chief

New York - The Vibe Lifestyle Network, a unit of Intermedia -- the company that recently acquired defunct Vibe magazine, announced on Tuesday that it has named Jermaine Hall as editor-in-chief of the re-launched Vibe and Vibe.com properties. Hall was most recently editor-in-chief of King Magazine, and prior to that was music editor at The Source. Vibe.com is set to re-launch yet this month, while a quarterly magazine will begin publishing in November.

New York - Hip-hop magazine Vibe will be resurrected -- six weeks after shuttering -- after private equity firm Intermedia Partners and its publishing unit Uptown Media reached a deal to acquire the brand and website, The Wall Street Journal reported.

Glam Media, the number one ranked women's web property, today announced that Karin Marke is joining the company as vice president of sales. In this newly created position, Ms. Marke, formerly vice president of sales for MySpace at Fox Interactive, will head sales for Glam Media for the western region.
