EMI Releases Video Games Live Concert Compilation Album

London - Video Games Live, the live symphonic concert touring series that features video game music, announced that EMI Classics has released a compilation CD and digital album featuring music from the concerts. Compiled by tour co-creators Tommy Tallarico and Jack Wall, who also conducts, the album features tracks from games such as "Halo," "Tetris," "Castlevania" and "Myst" played by the Slovak National Orchestra, The Crouch End Festival Chorus and Martin "The Video Game Pianist" Leung.

Los Angeles - The producers of Video Games Live, a touring symphonic concert series featuring video game music, said this week that they plan to release a live DVD and CD from performances recorded in Rio de Janeiro last year. The company said it will provide pricing and release date information in August.

Los Angeles - Event producer IDG World Expo on Friday announced details and dates for its forthcoming "E for All Expo" events, where consumers will be able to demo upcoming video game titles, compete in tournaments and meet game developers.
