Sunnyvale, Calif. - Tzero Technologies, a developer ultra wideband wireless video technology used in displays, set-top boxes, digital video recorders and other products, announced on Thursday that it has received an undisclosed strategic investment from Miven Venture Partners. Tzero said the investment is an extension of its $25.5 million second round of funding announced in June. The Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company develops technology that can wirelessly connect high-definition video and audio devices, such as HDTVs, next-generation DVD players, set-top boxes and video game systems -- in place of a standard HDMI cable.
