Mobile Game "Surviving High School" Hits 7.5M Downloads

Los Angeles - Vivendi Games Mobile said on Wednesday that its "Surviving High School" episodic mobile game saw 7.5 million episode downloads in 2007, which the company says makes it the most successful original IP in mobile gaming history. Vivendi Games Mobile acquired the game's original developers, Centerscore, in 2006.

Vivendi Games Mobile to Sell Titles via Nokia Download

Paris - Vivendi Games Mobile announced this week a deal with cell phone maker Nokia, to offer a range of its games on Nokia devices via the company's Nokia Download service. Customers will be able to download Vivendi mobile games directly to their Nokia handsets.

Greystripe to Offer Free, Ad-Supported Mobile Games From Vivendi

San Francisco - Greystripe, a distributor of free, ad-supported mobile games, on Thursday announced an agreement with Vivendi Games Mobile, to distribute ten ad-supported game titles. The games, which include several Garfield titles and "After Dark Flying Toaster," will be offered on San Francisco-based Greystripe's GameJump.com, and also through its 21 mobile and website partners.

Los Angeles - Vivendi Games Mobile on Wednesday announced the line-up of ten new games -- many adapted from existing console franchises -- that it plans to launch in the second half of 2007. Upcoming titles include "Crash of the Titans"; "Delta Force"; "Leisure Suit Larry: Love For Sail"; "Shock Blocks"; "Slide N' Loop"; "Surviving High School '08"; "Surviving Hollywood"; "The Incredible Machine"; "The Legend of Spyro: Eternal Night"; and "Urban Attack."

Acme Mobile to Release Vivendi Game Titles in Southeast Asia

Singapore - Acme Mobile, a distributor of mobile entertainment content in Southeast Asia, on Thursday announced a deal with Vivendi Games Mobile, to release the company's titles across in Southeast Asia. The games will be offered on Amob.com and the wireless portals of 16 carriers in Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia and the Philippines.
