San Francisco - Vizu, a developer of online polling technology for publishers, announced that it has raised $2.9 million in a new round of financing, led by Draper Fisher Jurvetson.
San Francisco - Vizu, a San Francisco-based developer of technology that allows organizations and individuals to create their own online polls, said on Tuesday that it has raised $1 million in its first round of funding, led by WR Hambrecht + Co. Amicus Capital and several angel investors also participated. Individuals can use Vizu to create polls on any topic, and can monitor or share content via email, RSS, instant messaging or by exporting polls to blogs, websites or other social networking sites.
