Vogue, IMG Partner on Web-based Fashion Reality Series

New York - Conde Nast-owned fashion magazine Vogue has partnered with IMG to produce a Web-based reality series about the fashion industry, The Wall Street Journal reported. Set to premiere next month, the ad-supported "Model Live" will follow the lives of three working models. In addition to airing on Vogue.tv, the series will also be syndicated on Hulu and Veoh. The Journal reported that the series cost $3 million to produce ($31,000 a minute), and cited insiders who said that clothing retailer Express paid over $1 million to be the top sponsor of the program.

Conde Nast Launches Video Shopping Site ShopVogue.TV

New York - Publisher Conde Nast on Tuesday announced the launch of ShopVogue.TV, a video online shopping and entertainment network for its Vogue fashion magazine. The network features four channels with over 240 minutes of original programming, and more than 1,500 featured products from170 brands. The video programming allows viewers to shop as they watch, with links to e-commerce sites and the ability to send product information and store locations to cell phones. A feature called Fashion U Share also lets viewers submit photos of personal style ideas and favorite shopping, entertainment and dining locations.
