Dulles, Va. - Anystream, a provider of digital media production and video-on-demand syndication services, announced on Monday that it has merged with Voxant Media, a provider of Web video syndication services.

Voxant's TheNewsRoom.com to Distribute MTV News Programming

New York - Voxant, a distributor of ad-supported news to web publishers, said that its TheNewsRoom.com site is now offering New York-based MTV News' programming, with an emphasis on gaming. Web publishers and bloggers who register with TheNewsRoom may obtain free video and print clips from MTV News and post that content to their own sites.

Dow Jones, CBS to Distribute Content Through Voxant

Reston, Va. - Voxant, an online distributor and promoter of news content, said that it has partnered with Dow Jones Online to make videos from The Wall Street Journal Online, MarketWatch.com and Barron's Online available through its syndication platform, TheNewsRoom. The company also announced that CBS News and CBS Television Stations Group will distribute national and local news clips through its syndication network. The company provides website publishers and bloggers with access to thousands of licensed news stories and video clips, which sites can then embed and syndicate to their own readers.

Online News Distributor Voxant Adds Associated Press Content

Reston, Va. - Voxant, an online distributor and promoter of news content from more than 150 sources, said that it has partnered with AP Digital, a commercial division of The Associated Press (AP). Under the deal, a selection of AP news video, articles and photos will be made available to thousands of websites and blogs through Voxant's TheNewsRoom.

Sony Pictures Television International (SPTI) announced yesterday that Kim Hatamiya has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Marketing. Based at SPTI's headquarters in Culver City, California, Hatamiya heads marketing for the division of Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) that oversees all television and on-demand businesses outside the United States. Hatamiya reports to Michael Grindon, SPTI's president, who made the announcement. She joined SPTI in April 2003 as Senior Vice President, Marketing.

Online News Distributor Voxant Raises $10.5 Million

Reston, Va. - Voxant, a company that distributes news across the Internet for media companies, said on Wednesday that it has raised $10.5 million in its second round of funding. SoftBank Capital and Court Square Ventures co-led the round, which also included participation from previous investor Longworth Venture Partners.
