Sony Ericsson Releases Seventh Walkman Phone

Research Triangle Park, N.C. - Cell phone joint venture Sony Ericsson on Tuesday introduced its seventh Walkman phone, the W300, which features up to 1GB of memory, camera and video capture, and a 1" screen that displays media player information while the phone is closed. Scheduled to ship in the second quarter of 2006, the phone will also support data-sharing over a Bluetooth wireless connection.

Sony Ericsson Debuts 4GB Walkman Phone

Barcelona - Sony Ericsson has introduced its sixth Walkman phone, the W950, which features a purple casing, orange backlight and 4GB of memory -- enough to hold about 4,000 songs. The phone is scheduled to ship in the third quarter in Europe and is expected to be priced between $360-$480. Sony Ericsson also said that it has now sold a total of over 3 million of its Walkman phones.

Sony Ericsson Introduces W810 Walkman Phone

Las Vegas - Sony Ericsson on Thursday introduced its latest Walkman phone, the Sony Ericsson W810. The music phone comes with a 512MB memory stick, which can be upgraded to 2GB, as well as a 2-megapixel camera, video capture and Bluetooth connectivity. Sony Ericsson did not provide pricing details for the phone, which will ship to North America in the spring of 2006.
