London - Radiohead's "In Rainbows" has sold more than 3 million copies across downloads, CDs and boxed sets, and the initial pay-what-you-want online release generated more digital income than the band made in total from its previous album, "Hail to the Thief," Music Ally reported, citing data from publisher Warner/Chappell UK (NYSE: WMG).

San Jose, Calif. - Qtrax, the developer of a free, ad-supported music file-sharing service, has secured a deal with the last of the four major music publishers, Warner Music Group's (NYSE: WMG) Warner/Chappell, to license its repertoire for inclusion on the Qtrax service, Wired.com reports.

New York - Microsoft has signed a music publishing deal with Warner Music Group's Warner/Chappell Music, for the rights to license compositions from Microsoft video game titles.

The Orchard, Warner/Chappell Sign Ringtone Distribution Agreement

New York - The Orchard, a digital distributor of independent label music, said on Thursday that it reached an agreement with Warner/Chappell Music, the music publishing arm of major record label Warner Music Group. Under the terms, The Orchard will be granted rights to make songs whose publishing is controlled by Warner/Chappell available as master recording ringtones and ringback tones to U.S. wireless subscribers through its network partners.
