Burbank, Calif. - Time Warner's (NYSE: TWX) Warner Home Video said on Tuesday that its first Blu-ray Disc title to feature BD-Live interactivity will be "The Dark Knight," scheduled for release on Dec. 9. BD-Live will allow users to host their own live community screenings with friends; record and post user-generated commentaries over the film; access additional exclusive film-related features; view trailers for upcoming films; and connect to the WB store.

Burbank, Calif. - Warner Home Video on Thursday claimed to be the first studio to pass 100,000 in sales on a high-definition title, with "The Departed," last year's Oscar winner for Best Picture. The studio claims more than 30% market share of DVD sales in the high definition market.
