London - U.K.-based ad-supported music service We7 has announced plans to shift away from providing free song downloads and towards free, ad-supported music streaming, Music Ally reports. The company told customers in an email that it will eliminate its ad-supported download feature altogether for non-U.K. users, and that the ads embedded on its downloads will no longer be removable after 28 days. New York - Warner Music Group (NYSE: WMG) announced that it has signed new agreements with Microsoft's Xbox Live Marketplace and U.K. digital retailer We7, to sell music videos and DRM-free MP3 downloads, respectively.
