Blinkx Adds "Meet the Author" Video Clips to Web Video Index

San Francisco - Blinkx, a searchable index of Web video, announced on Thursday that it has added over 800 video clips of authors discussing their books from Meet the Author, an interactive video marketing and book promotions company.

Blinkx Adds 5,000 U.K. TV Commercials to Web Video Index

San Francisco - Blinkx, an online index of searchable Web video, announced on Monday that it has added more than 5,000 U.K. TV commercials from the past 60 years to its index. The new content comes as a result of agreements with Diesel, visit4info, the Advertising Producers Association, and the U.K. government's Central Office of Information.

Blinkx Signs MIVA to Bring Contextual Ads to Web Video Index

San Francisco - Blinkx, a provider of a searchable index of Web video, announced on Wednesday that it has signed an agreement with MIVA that will bring contextually targeted advertising to its users. The MIVA-powered Blinkx Smart Ads Platform will offer advertisers the opportunity to deliver ads which are targeted to users based on their location, and the specific topic of whatever video content they are viewing through Blinkx.
