Google, Microsoft, Others Form White Spaces Database Group

Washington - Seven technology firms, including Google (NASD: GOOG), Microsoft (NASD: MSFT) and Motorola (NYSE: MOT), on Wednesday announced the formation of the White Space Database Group, which will facilitate the timely creation of a white spaces database to govern the use of vacant television broadband spectrum.
