Omaha, Nebr. - WikiCity, an online network of over 22,000 city-based wikis, has been acquired by newspaper publisher Omaha World-Herald Co, the World Herald reported on its website.

New York - CBS Interactive announced that it has partnered with a number of social networks and other community sites to allow members to embed CBS clips into their profiles, blogs, websites, wikis and widgets.

Google Acquires Wiki Online Collaboration Developer JotSpot

Mountain View, Calif. - Google announced on Tuesday that it has acquired JotSpot, a company developing a platform for creating wiki-based applications used for online collaborations. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
