Narrowstep to Webcast Paralympic Winter Games

Torino, Italy - Narrowstep, a provider of Internet-based video content delivery, announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with the International Paralympic Committee, to launch a 24-hour broadband channel featuring coverage of the Paralympic Winter Games. The site launched today and will provide over 100 hours of coverage from the games, which will be held March 10-19.

2K Sports Gets Rights to Winter Olympics Game, Ships Xbox 360 Titles

New York - 2K Sports, a unit of video game publisher Take-Two Interactive, announced on Wednesday an agreement with the International Olympic Committee for the rights to publish "Torino 2006," the "Official Video Game of the XX Olympic Winter Games." Featuring eight sports and 15 events, the game will ship in January 2006 for PlayStation 2, Xbox and the PC. Separately, New York-based 2K Sports said its has shipped its "NBA 2K6," "NHL 2K6" and "Amped 3" titles for Xbox 360 to retailers, in anticipation of the console's launch next week.
