Detroit - General Motors announced on Wednesday that it plans to ship 1.55 million vehicles with factory-installed XM Satellite Radio receivers in 2006. The company added that for model-year 2006, nearly 90% of GM's models will offer factory-installed XM as either standard equipment or as an option. GM shipped 1.4 million XM-equipped vehicles in 2005 and 1.17 million in 2004.
