San Jose, Calif. - Yebol, an Internet search startup founded by a former engineer at Yahoo (NASD: YHOO), said that it has launched its semantic search engine at Yebol.com. The tool utilizes a combination of algorithms and human knowledge to build a unique Web directory for each query, featuring hundreds of links per page. Instead of normal search listings, San Jose, Calif.-based Yebol automatically clusters results into groups of term-specific categories. The company so far has built a "knowledge base" for more than 10 million concepts covering over a billion Web pages.
