YuMe to Handle Unsold Video Ad Inventory on Microsoft Sites

Redwood City, Calif. - Online video advertising network YuMe on Monday announced a deal with Microsoft (NASD: MSFT), to compliment the company's existing video ad services by handling network management and sales for unsold inventory on Microsoft's online properties.

Redwood City, Calif. - YuMe, the developer of an online ad network optimized for broadband video, announced on Tuesday that NBC (NYSE: GE) will utilize its technology on the forthcoming NBC Direct service. Currently in beta, NBC Direct lets users download full-length TV shows to their computers, as well as schedule automatic delivery of new episodes. Enhanced versions of the service are slated to launch later in the first quarter.

Azureus Taps YuMe for Targeted Broadband Video Ads on Vuze

Redwood City, Calif. - YuMe, a broadband video advertising network, announced on Monday a partnership with Azureus, a provider of peer-to-peer file-sharing technology. Under the deal, advertisers will be able to incorporate customized ads within select licensed and self-published content online video content distributed on Vuze, a new download service from Azureus. Advertisers and Azureus will be able to track when and where viewers download their ad-supported content, how often they view it, and how they interact with ads.
