New York - After announcing that it had hired Goldman Sachs to help explore a sale of the company in January, restaurant and nightlife guide publisher Zagat announced on Friday that it has discontinued its search for suitors and will instead pursue an "organic growth strategy."

New York - Zagat Survey, the publisher of print and online user-generated, survey-based dining, travel and leisure guides, announced on Monday that it has hired Goldman Sachs to explore partnerships or a potential sale of the company.

Zagat, Handmark Publish BlackBerry Restaurant Guide

New York - Zagat, the publisher of local restaurant and nightlife guides, announced on Tuesday that it has partnered with mobile content distributor Handmark to launch Zagat To Go, a mobile version of its guides for BlackBerry users. Available for $24.95 per year, the service will offer listings for 24,000 spots in 71 cities, in addition to street-level maps and driving directions to desired destinations.
