Zazzle Debuts Artsprojekt, Skateboard-on-Demand Service

Redwood City, Calif. - Zazzle, a provider on-demand, customized merchandise for recording artists and other applications, on Wednesday announce the launch of Artsprojekt, an online community for arts, pop culture and action sports enthusiasts. The site, which is also backed by artist and former pro skateboarder Andy Howell, will feature original art, illustrations, and designs, as well as artist profiles, interviews and product galleries. Initial participants include Lil Jon, Shepard Fairey, Santa Cruz Skateboards, Blood Is The New Black, skateboard artist Jim Phillips and skateboarding legend Steve Caballero. Zazzle said it has also launched a customized skateboard-on-demand service in collaboration with Artsprojekt.

Hollywood Records Taps Zazzle for Customizable Merch

Redwood City, Calif. - Zazzle, an on-demand retail platform that lets consumers personalize music merchandise and other products, said on Tuesday that it Disney's Hollywood Records will offer its service for artists including Plain White T's and Breaking Benjamin. Redwood City, Calif.-based Zazzle has previously signed similar deals with MySpace, Live Nation and Warner Music Group.

Zazzle, Signatures Network Team on Personalized Band Merchandise

Redwood City, Calif. - Zazzle, an on-demand retail platform, said on Wednesday that it has partnered with Live Nation's (NYSE: LYV) recently acquired Signatures Network merchandise and licensing company. Under the deal, artists who use Signatures Network -- including The Who, Kiss and Rob Zombie -- will allow fans to customize and buy their own versions of t-shirts and other band merchandise via Zazzle's on-demand service.

The application will allow businesses and organizations to design and sell retail-quality products from their Facebook pages.

Warner Music Taps Zazzle for Custom, On-Demand Merchandise

Redwood City, Calif. - Zazzle, an on-demand retail platform, announced on Wednesday that it has signed a deal with Warner Music Group (NYSE: WMG), which will allow artists to create Zazzle Galleries offering fans customized products based on their images, photos and artwork. The fans themselves will also be able to create their own customized band merchandise and sell it through their fan sites, MySpace profiles or blogs. Redwood City, Calif.-based Zazzle earlier this week announced a deal to feature its services on MySpace, and also has partnerships with Disney, Lucasfilm, Warner Bros., Neopets and the Library of Congress for custom, on-demand merchandise.
