Zone4Play, Two Way Media Form U.K. Interactive Betting JV

Wilmington, Del. - Zone4Play, a developer of Internet, TV and mobile games content, announced on Wednesday that it has formed a joint venture with interactive TV production company Two Way Media, to exploit opportunities in the U.K. gambling and entertainment market.

Online Casino Golden Palace Invests in Gambling Tech Developer Zone4Play

Wilmington, Del. - Zone4Play, a developer of interactive software and technology for the gambling industry, announced on Thursday that it has received an investment from online casino Golden Palace. Under the terms, Golden Palace will invest $600,000 in exchange for 20% of RNG Gaming, an indirect subsidiary of Zone4Play, with an option to purchase an additional 30% stake. RNG was created to develop and license Zone4Play's multiplayer Black Jack gaming technology, which will now be featured on GoldenPalace.com.

Zone4Play Establishes Isle of Man Unit for Internet Gambling

Wilmington, Del. - Zone4Play, a developer of interactive TV and mobile gambling software, said on Wednesday that Two Way TV Australia has launched its mobile lottery services. The mobile lottery services offer traditional lottery operators a new distribution channel, and also enable mobile operators to deliver lottery products like Keno and Bingo to their customers.

Interactve TV Firm Zone4Play Gets U.K. Bookmaker License

Wilmington, Del. - Zone4Play, a developer of interactive TV software for the betting and gaming industry, announced on Tuesday that it has been granted a U.K. bookmaker license. The company will utilize the license on its own Participation TV offerings. Delaware-based Zone4Play also offers interactive TV technology through British Telecom, Coral Eurobet, Betfair and Channel 5.

Games Firm Zone4Play Acquires Interactive TV Developer MiXTV

Wilmington, Del. -- Zone4Play, a developer of games for interactive TV and other platforms, announced on Friday that it has acquired the outstanding minority interest in MiXTV, a developer of text message-based interactive TV applications. Zone4Play has now completed a full acquisition of the company from Israel-based NetFun Ltd., with whom it founded the company in June 2004. Under the deal, Delaware-based Zone4Play will acquire rights to MiXTV's broadcast SMS-TV interactive fixed-odds betting channel, which will launch on The Poker Channel next month. Zone4Play added that MiXTV is also in negotiations to sign additional broadcast carriage agreements in the U.K.

Interactive TV Games Developer Zone4Play Raises $1 Million

Wilmington, Del. -- Zone4Play, a developer of games for interactive TV, cell phones and the Internet, announced on Wednesday that it has raised $1 million in a private placement of its shares with a group of undisclosed investors. Delaware-based Zone4Play has developed games and applications for customers including Cablevision, TwoWay TV, NTL, LodgeNet and Orange. The company will use the funds to accelerate product development and to expand into emerging markets. "We have recently signed revenue-sharing agreements with major TV platforms and hospitality providers as well as partnering agreements with leading content brands to adapt their games for iTV markets," said Zone4Play CEO Uri Levy. "We are moving forward with our plans for multiplayer games on all interactive channels. Zone4Play anticipates forming additional joint ventures with new business partners shortly."

Delaware-based Zone4Play's cross-system product line allows access to a variety of platforms through only one user account. The company will use the funds to expand its infrastructure and to develop new multiplayer titles.
