Seattle - Zumobi on Friday announced the beta launch of its interactive mobile phone interface and mobile widget platform. At launch, the company said it will offer "snack-sized bits" of entertainment and information from partners including Amazon.com, MTV Networks, The Associated Press, AccuWeather.com, Traffic.com and FlightStats.com. The service is initially compatible for phones running Windows Mobile 5 and 6, with Blackberry and select J2ME compatibility slated for the second quarter of 2008.
