New York - Global management consulting and outsourcing firm Accenture (NYSE: ACN) announced on Wednesday that it will acquire Origin Digital, a provider of video capture, transformation and delivery services to content owners.

Los Angeles - Confirming earlier rumors, video-sharing site Revver has been acquired by LiveUniverse, a company launched by former MySpace parent company Intermix Media's founder Brad Greenspan, according to reports from NewTeeVee and CNET News.com. While terms of the acquisition were not disclosed, News.com reported earlier this month that the struggling Revver -- which had seen the departure of all of its founders, and its staff cut in half -- was asking for only $300,000 to $500,000, plus the assumption of about $1 million in debt.

Yahoo Acquires Maven Networks for $160 Million

Sunnyvale, Calif. - Yahoo (NASD: YHOO) announced on Tuesday that it has acquired Maven Networks, a provider of online video syndication, content management and advertising service, for $160 million. Founded in 2002, Cambridge, Mass.-based Maven currently manages online video for over 30 media companies, including Sony BMG, CBS Sports, Hearst, Gannett, Scripps Networks and the Financial Times.

San Francisco - Video-sharing site Revver, which has raised a total of $12.7 million in financing to date, is now reportedly seek a sale of the company with an asking price of just $300,000 to $500,000, plus assumption of about $1 million in debt, CNET News.com reported, citing two sources with knowledge of the negotiations. Former employees told CNET the company's staff has been more than halved over the last 18 months.
