- Jonathan Potter has resigned as executive director of the Digital Media
Association (DiMA), a trade group representing the interests of larger
webcasters and technology firms that he founded in 1998. "I am grateful to
DiMA's member companies for allowing me to serve them -- and their innovative
technologies and services and their passionate people -- for so long and in so
many exciting ways. I hope that my next adventure is as challenging and
rewarding," said Potter. DiMA general counsel Lee Knife will serve as
interim executive director while the organization searches for a replacement.

Times confirmed on Friday that John Solomon has resigned as its executive
editor. Solomon, who had held the post since Jan. 2008, formally tendered his
resignation on Nov. 6. The news caps a chaotic week at the conservative
publication, which on Sunday fired Thomas McDevitt, its president and
publisher, as well as CFO Keith Cooperrider and Chairman Dong Moon Joo. The
Washington Times was launched in 1982 by Rev. Sun Myung Moon, and is subsidized
by businesses related to Moon's Unification

announced one new member. The company, which expects to complete its spin out

online luxury retailer Gilt Groupe, as the board's tenth member. Lyne also has
served as the president and CEO of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, and
previously served in various positions at Walt Disney Company, rising to
